As the final of the much publicised MTN Project Fame West Africa (Season 6) holds this weekend, the final six contestants have continued to work hard and solicit for votes. They all flowed effortlessly in Saturday’s Soul and Jazz night.
Niniola opened the stage with the song To Love You More by Celine Dion, before Immaculate did Same Ole Love by Anita Baker.
Omolayo raised the bar with Unforgettable by Nat King Cole, and the Judges said he was passionate and comfortable with his vocals.
Margaret’s Walk On by Dionne Warwick earned her beautiful compliments from the judges. She was commended for her consistency and confidence on stage. Roland did Georgia On My Mind by Ray Charles.
Wrapping up the evening’s performances was Olawale doing When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars. He was praised for showcasing a transformed character that blends with the song.
Meanwhile, Sunday was another evening of unlimited fun and excitement as the contestants took the contest to another level. Not only did they perform their self-composed songs, they also did collaborations with established acts in the country.
The collaborations started with Niniola and Kcee performing Limpopo. Margaret and Iyanya did Sexy Mama, while Olawale and Tiwa Savage thrilled with Love Me.
Others performances are Omolayo and WizKid –Jaiye Jaiye, Immaculate and Praiz –Rich and Famous, while Roland and Chidinma rounded off with Emi Ni Baller.
