On 28 September, Juju music maestro, Commander Ebenezer Obey, will be on stage at Intercontinental Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos as Glo special concert tagged “Evergreen Series” takes off.
The music icon will be entertaining a select audience whose profile fits into his evergreen music.
Nigeria’s National Telecoms Operator, Globacom has partnered with Nigerian Breweries plc as well as Arik Air to package the special music concert in honour of Nigerian music legends who have contributed immensely to the growth and development of the nation’s music industry for decades.
“This union of Nigeria’s corporate giants is consummated in order to give a befitting honour to Nigeria’s music legends under the Glo Evergreen Series,’’ said Globacom in a statement in Lagos.
Globacom said the series will be staged in different parts of the country with each edition featuring different music legends collaborating with highly rated contemporary musicians.
“The night will be a celebration of the true values of the legend on parade, showcasing the best songs, as well as taking the people down memory lane through a specially packaged documentary,” the statement added.
As part of a the fun-filled night for music enthusiasts, the duo of MI and Yemi Sax will join Obey in the first edition to perform some of his evergreen tunes.
