•Symphony: Evicted from Glo X-Factor

After their narrow escape from the eviction axe penultimate weekend, Symphony, the only group remaining in Glo X-Factor, has finally bowed out of the singing reality television show.

The Ghanaian three-man group was evicted after an eventful sojourn in the show and thus marked the end of their dream of grabbing the N24 million cash prize and a recording contract with Sony Music.

They became the fourth group to be evicted after SmoothBoiz, DNA Twins, as well as Ankara Boi had left the show in that order.

Symphony and Vicky recorded the lowest votes and the two had to sing for the judges to decide who stays and goes home.

As expected of Ghana singer and one of the judges, Reggie Rockstone, was the first to choose whom to save from the bottom two. “I have to look out for my chosen. I pick Symphony,” said Rockstone.

Onyeka in her comment praised the trio for their flair and enthusiasm, adding that they should not kill this talent. She later voted for Vicky, who has always remained her choice from the beginning of the show. “I vote for Vicky. We can’t afford to lose her,” Onyeka said.

Each family was full of praise and admiration that their sons had made it far in an international competition which started with thousands of teeming youths.
