As Ayoka becomes the fifth contestant to be eliminated from the on-going MTN Project Fame West Africa (season 6), the judges have placed the remaining 12 participants on probation. Some of them will be evicted tomorrow, 31 August.

Last weekend’s eviction show started as the contestants played tribute songs to the late James Brown and Ray Charles.

After this group performance, the four contestants on probation the previous week mounted the stage one after the other to fight their way out of probation. They repeated the songs that landed them on probation and the judges noted the significant improvements they had made.

While Jimoh was saved by the viewers at home, Niniola found favour in the sight of the judges and Johnny narrowly escaped elimination as he recorded more votes among the other contestants. Thereafter, Ayoka ended up being eliminated from the competition.

Sunday was another evening of entertainment as the contestants took up the stage one after the other to wow the judges and audience. Opening the stage for the evening was Jimoh. He performed Elton John’s Sacrifice.
