As the MTN sponsored Project Fame West Africa (season 6) continues to gather momentum, Leonard and Oluchi have become the first set of contestants to be evicted, while Henry, Johnny, Gbemisola, Blessing and Olawale are currently on probation, and two of them will be evicted tomorrow.

Saturday’s show started off with much tension. The five Wild Card qualifiers opened the floor one after the other. Ngozi performed At Last by Etta James, while Anwunli and Henry sang KC & Jojo’s All My Life. Shawn took up Craig David’s I’m Walking Away and Nancy also was applauded by the audience for her performance.

Meanwhile, the five contestants (Simon, Roland, Leonard, Oluchi and Ayoka) on probation the previous week took to the stage to sing their way out of probation. After their performances, the representative from Alexander Forbes stepped forward and handed over the name of the contestant saved by viewers. While Simon found favour in the sight of the viewers at home, Roland was saved by the Faculty and Ayoka got more votes from fellow contestants, leaving Leonard and Oluchi for eviction.

Henry on his part took up Banky W’s Yes/No and the Liberian babe -Margaret was on top of her game as she performed Chidinma’s Jolly.

Blessing, with her charming smile performed 2Face’s Ihe N’eme. This was followed by Roland whose progress in the competition became very obvious as he performed May D’s Ile Ijo. Jimoh was next as he did justice to Sean Tizzle’s Sho Le.
