Still basking in the euphoria of the success recorded by her first self-produced movie Arewa Onijogbon, pretty Tayo Sobola is set to hit location for her second movie with the working title Corper Jide.
The fast-rising actress, popularly called Sotayo, said she is leaving no stone unturned to make sure the new film’s success surpasses that of Arewa Onijogbon. “I never expected Arewa Onijogbon to go this far because I was only experimenting with the project. The reception by fans and movie watchers was enormous and the movie had rave reviews both by the media and by people that watched it,” Sotayo stated.
Biodun Caston-Dada, CEO, MAGiKAL Entertainment, said Corper Jide will be shot on location in Lagos and Ijebu-Ode. It will star top Yoruba actors including Dele Odule, Gloria Mba, Ayo Mogaji, Afeez Oyetoro, Iyabo Oko, Ayo Adesanya, Aremu Afolayan and Tayo Sobola herself .
The new work will be directed by S. Muyideen Ayinde.
