Petite upcoming Afro pop singer Valentina Simon, popularly called T2, has a low voice that one needs to lean towards her to hear her well. But that is where it ends as whenever she is on stage, her voice arrests all.

“I am an upcoming female artiste that is very passionate about my music career. I write, sing and also love to dance. Composing music is my daily bread and God never disappoints me with inspirations,” T2 told P.M.NEWS Showbiz Trends after an energetic performance during an event at O’jez Restaurant in Lagos, Nigeria.

According to the singer, she has been working so hard to brace the challenges that many upcoming acts face in the Nigerian music industry. “I want to be heard, I want to be seen and that is why I am working hard daily to achieve my goals. I am focused and I know God will give me wisdom to handle the different situations to my best advantage,” she said.

The young singer who hails from Aniocha, Delta State started music professionally in 2004 as a gospel artist but later switched to secular songs because of her desire to gain more fans across all religions and later rule the Nigerian music scene. And in achieving this, T2 has got signed on to Media Image Managers, MIM, a media management company that has in its stable many top artistes.

P.M.NEWS Showbiz Trends learnt that in a matter of weeks, T2 will debut with the release of two singles: Mr Deejay and Hotter Dan Fire off her debut album. She has already recorded eight new songs but she is releasing the two as a teaser ahead of her next year debut. She has also just finished a song with singer Wizboy titled 50-50 Love.
