Afro pop singer, BANjo says  he is working hard to get the attention of American rap star, Snoop Dogg, to feature in his forthcoming debut album.

BANjo told P.M.NEWS Showbiz Trends that the growing popularity of his first single, Tomorrow, has spurred him to aim for more quality production and collaboration so that he can surpass his debut.

“The response of music listeners to my first single has really amazed me. Recently, I was on a radio programme streaming live on the internet, and some fans in far away countries, including Russia and Czech Republic, sent in messages that the song gave them hope that tomorrow would be better than today,” BANjo said.

He said apart from Snoop Dogg, he has his sight on future collabo with other great artistes including MI and Olamide. Already, he has recorded some songs with other Nigerian artistes and with a Latin American singer whose name he is still keeping under wraps. The singer claimed that he is the new artiste with the most Twitter followers to date with over 400,000 followers.

Born Banjo Aladegbami, the singer is a University of Lagos Mathematics and Statistics graduate. BANjo started his music career as a teen from the church. He later became the youngest choir master in the church, while also helping to arrange and direct many music festivals in various towns in his home state, Ekiti, before going to university.

His debut single, Tomorrow, has been described as a fantastic blend of tight musical arrangement, professional production complimented by his voice.
