In a bid to appreciate sons and daughters of Ikale land that have contributed to the development of the area in Ondo State and the society at large, the Ikale Community in Lagos is set to honour star actor, Funsho Adeolu.

In a statement signed by the chairman organising committee, Clement Olayeye, others that will also be honoured are; former governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Agagu;  Abayomi Sheba, a Federal Character Commissioner; Chief Kola Emaye, Mr. Adeolu Ijose, a staff of UBA and Afolabi Iwalewa, member House of Assembly, Ondo state.

According to Olayeye, the next Ikale night will come up on 22 February at Big Soul Hotel & Garden, Agbede Ikorodu, Lagos.

The annual programme is billed to host all sons and daughters of Ikale land that are in Lagos and their well wishers.

Olayeye said: “We organise the annual Ikale night in Lagos  to foster unity among us in order to contribute to the  development of our community in Ondo State and the society at large.

“This year’s event is coming up in a grand style. We are going to celebrate our people, those who are great ambassadors of Ikale land in their respective professions.”
