Star actress Kate Henshaw has been selected as the new brand ambassador for Samsung West Africa.
She will be replacing foremost female rapper and fashion designer, Sasha.
Sources told P.M.NEWS that Kate was chosen due to her successful track record as worthy brand ambassador for GLO Nigeria and Promasidor’s Onga food seasoning.
The 42 year old thespian was also a judge in the Airtel-sponsored Nigeria’s Got Talent reality show.
No official announcement has been made but papers have been signed and she would be officially unveiled in a matter of days from now.
Kate will be joining the likes of Banky W, Sasha and Don Jazzy on the list of showbiz personalities that have been chosen as brand ambassadors of the South Korean electronic giant.
Meanwhile, Sasha has revealed that contrary to reports on some entertainment blogs and websites that she was dropped by Samsung, the Storm 360 artiste said she has ended her one-year deal with the company as initially agreed.
“I had a one year contract with Samsung which we concluded last year according to the terms of our contract. While we continue to have a good working relationship, I will not be the female mobile ambassador this year,” Sasha stated.
