Olunloyo: abandoned by PDP

A chieftain of Nigeria’s ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Dejo Raimi has blamed his party for being responsible for the decamping of the former governor of Oyo State, Dr. Omololu Olunloyo to Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).

Raimi told P.M. NEWS in an interview that Olunloyo decamped to the leading opposition party in the country because PDP, its former party abandoned him and refused to take good care of him while in the party.

He berated Africa’s largest political party for making Olunloyo hungry to the extent that he has to seek for food in another party saying that the astute politician decamped to ACN so that he could get his daily meal.

According to him, “For a very long time, nobody talked to Olunloyo from PDP. Nobody gave him what to eat. My friend is hungry and he needs food and relevance. ACN promised to give him what he wants; food and other things and as a result, he dumped PDP and went to ACN. Don’t forget that a hungry man will eat from his enemy. It is very careless and stupid of PDP to leave its elder statesmen like Omololu Olunloyo, myself, Akinjide and the rest”.
