Team Lagos early today booked a place in the final of the male football event of the 18th National Sports Festival after they beat Team Kwara 4-1 via penalty shootouts in continuation of yesterday’s second semi-final clash that was stalled by poor visibility at the Agege Stadium.
However, Chief Coach of Team Kwara, Rasheed Adebayo, says they are goig to file a protest against Team Lagos for fielding a professional league player which was the reason they lost.
However, Head Coach of Team Lagos, has dispelled the claim, saying that their opponents should have congratulated them, than to be finding reasons for their loss.
“I’m surprised that Team Kwara are giving excuses for their loss. What I expect them to have done is to congratulate us.
