Music Is My Priority —Evans Jyde

Adedeji  Adeyeye popularly known as Evans Jyde has the right recipe to attract fans. The promising RnB artist is enjoying massive following on video sharing website, Youtube.  His singles, ‘Bamijo’ and ‘I Got Money’ are listeners’ delight.

With a blend of African rhythm and hip hop, Evans Jyde has managed to produce some hit songs. “I have always had a knack for singing since I was a child. I started from the church as a member of the choir and I later became the choir leader,” he said.

According to him, music is what drives him and he has managed to stay focused despite all the distractions. “Women try to be closer but I just try to be friendly with them. My priority in the industry is business. I don’t mix it with pleasure. When I reach my goal, I will consider other things,” he explained.

His determination to make it in music is evident in his efforts to record his songs despite the challenges. “When I couldn’t land a deal with a record label, I decided to start one, Prestige Records.

He opted to become an RnB and hip hop artist because he wanted his message to appeal to a wider audience. “I started from the church but wanted some particular people to enjoy my songs and that prompted me to become an RnB musician.”

The rising star is presently working on his debut album and hopes to have it ready by next year. “My album is not really ready for the market now. I’m still in the studio working on more songs and hopefully it will be ready early next year,” he said.
