The late Ojukwu: family in legal war

Family members of the former Biafran warlord, Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu were being expected at the Enugu High Court, Enugu State, southeast Nigeria, for the reading of his last Will.

P.M.News learnt that some associates and friends of the late Eze Ndigbo Gburugburu gathered at the premises of the court to witness the reading. The reading had not commenced as at the time of filing this report.

Ojukwu died in London, United Kingdom on 26 November, 2011.

The reading of the Will is expected to bring to an end the controversy surrounding the sharing of the properties left behind by the former leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

Chief Debe Odumegwu Ojukwu who claimed to be the eldest child of the late Ojukwu had slammed a N100 million suit on his father’s widow, Bianca and six others, accusing them of preventing him from managing his estate.
