Mavin Records boss and super producer, Don Jazzy, is giving away over a million naira to upcoming artistes in a new competition to produce the official theme song for the upcoming 2013 African Nations Cup. The accomplished music producer is partnering with Samsung to enrich fresh talents in the music industry.

Showbiz Trends gathered that Don Jazzy has been selected among top producers in Africa contracted to produce the theme song for the bi-annual continental soccer fiesta holding in South Africa and instead of having it done by established stars, he has decided to give an upcoming artiste a lifetime chance to record the theme song, get a million naira prize money and launch into stardom. He will also be handling to three runner-ups sum of N250,000 each.

The participants are expected to get and learn the chorus of track 2 from the newly released album Frenzy by Mavin Records’ artiste, D’Prince featuring Wande Coal and Don Jazzy himself. The participant will record a video of himself/herself singing and performing the chorus in any language of their choice, and then create an artist page on Truspot and upload the video.

Since parting ways with D’Banj, his close buddy and business partner, the Mavin Records head honcho has charted a new course of business for himself with the endorsement by Samsung which signed him up to produce some beats for their new products. And he has equally embrace philanthropy donating millions to different causes.
