The Chief Executive Officer of AK Media Concept, Benson Akindeju, will be installed with the title of Asiwaju this Friday in Igbotako, Ondo state.
The producer of television serials; Face-2-Face, Family Ties and Nowhere To Be Found will bag the Asiwaju Ijo of St. John Anglican Church, Igbotako. The ceremony will be anchored by Bishop Ebunoluwa Ogunele.
Akindeju will be conferred with the honour “as a result of his selfless service to humanity, both in the church and community at large,” said Bishop Ogunele.
Akindeju, born over 52 years ago, founded AK Media Concepts in 2005. He is a marketing graduate who has worked with Mahogany Productions as the Marketing Coordinator till 1986 after which he worked with Wale Adenuga Productions. He first worked as a Media Consultant and later as General Manager (Marketing) until 2005 when he left to establish his own outfit.
He has attended various seminars and workshops on Media and Marketing in Nigeria, South Africa, London and United States of America. Akindeju is involved in various community development projects with laurels to show for it.
