After an exciting series of club appearances and shows, the 2012 edition of Hennessy Artistry came to an end with a fabulous VVIP party at the Marquess of the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The amazing grand finale of the sixth edition of the project was headlined by hip-hop stars, M.I and Naeto C, who had a week earlier stormed the Lagos mainland with a gig at Octopus Reloaded Club, Sabo, Yaba for their final Hennessy Artistry club appearance.

Both M.I and Naeto C once again gave a mind-blowing performance of the Hennessy Artistry theme song Bartender.

At a point, they were joined on stage by Banky W and eLDee. This was after a back-to-back performance by some of the fastest-rising acts in Nigeria-Burna Boy, Dammy Krane, Flowssick, LOS, Miss Jaie, Mo’ Eazy, Rayce, Solid Star and Tunde Ednut.

Speaking at the grand finale, Tokini Peterside, Hennessy Marketing Manager said it has been a great year working with talented Nigerian musicians. “The fusion of their talent brings ‘the art of blending’ to life, which is at the heart of Hennessy Artistry, a project that seeks to further the interplay between our cognac, popular culture, people and good music,” Peterside said.

M.I and Naeto C were invited earlier this year to collaborate on what has been a thrilling and groundbreaking Hennessy Artistry project.

Bartender, the result of their collaboration, was released in August, and the music video was released soon after to critical acclaim.

This was followed by a multi-city Club Tour, where Naeto C and M.I were supported by other young acts.
