Cleric Charges CAN Over Boko Haram

A cleric, Prophet Solomon Olukunni Ajao has charged the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, to find solution to the incessant attacks on Christians  in the north of the country by the Boko Haram sect.

Reacting to the latest bombing of a Deeper Life Bible Church fellowship in Kogi State, Ajao urged the umbrella body for Christians in the country to adopt practical measures to save Christians from the senseless killings by Boko Haram gunmen.

Ajao who is also the founder and General Overseer of Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Warrior for Christ Mission at Fagba in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State,  also challenged the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, to initiate measures to saffeguard the lives of Christians.

Ajao called for fasting and prayers nationwide by all Christian, stressing that the announcement should be made by CAN and PFN.

“We cannot continue to watch endlessly when our brothers and sisters are being killed daily by Boko Haram Islamists.”

Ajao declared: “The weapon of Christians is not necessarily carnal but it has powers to bring down high places.”

He urged Christians to meet President Goodluck Jonathan and let him realise the implication of his failure to curtail the excesses of Boko Haram.

Prophet Ajao submitted that the Lord who saved the Israelites from the oppression of Zenacheribim is still alive.
