Coach of Prime FC of Oshogbo, Ademola Adesina has told players of the team to put behind them the success of their Federation Cup Round of 16, and brace up for the quarter final challenge against Enyimba of Aba.

Prime, won two matches and drew 1-1 with Sharks in their last tie on Friday, garnering a total of seven points to finish on top of Group C at Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan in Oyo State.

Sharks’ Gomo Udokwu scored for the Garden City team before Isa Akor equalised for Prime FC.

Coach Adesina however said their next match must be won if Crown are to achieve their Fed Cup dream this year.

“The group matches are gone now and, having scaled through that stage, the team have to start working hard for the subsequent matches, the Prime coach said.
Commenting on their last opponents, Adesina said: “Sharks FC were not a push over in the group matches. Their performance in Ibadan stood them out as a Premier League side.”

Sharks Coach, Imama Amapakabo blamed his club’s not too impressive performance against Prime on the negative support they received from the Ibadan fans.
“It was glaring that Ibadan is a comfortable home for Prime FC, the fans helped them in the match and I think we will be comfortable playing our next match in Bauchi,” Amapakabo said.
