Zimbabwe's Fall Excites Falcons' Coach

Chief Coach of Super Falcons of Nigeria, Kadiri Ikhana, has expressed joy over the victory of his team against their Zimbabwean counterparts, in his first official match in charge of the team.

Nigeria defeated hosts Zimbabwe by 2-0 in an African Women Championship, AWC, qualifier over the weekend in Harare. The two goals were scored by Evelyn Nwabuko and veteran striker, Stella Mbachu in the 13th and 80th minutes of the match respectively.

Ikhana said: “I am satisfied with the result, but I believe that we didn’t play as good as we could. However, we came here for the result and we got that on a clean sheet, so I am happy with the victory.”
