Dufil Prima Foods Launches Power Pasta

Dufil Prima Foods, makers of Indomie Instant Noodles, has joined the growing Pasta market with the unveiling of its new Power Pasta in a media launch at the Westown Hotel, Lagos.

Unveiling the new product, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Dufil Prima Foods, Deepak Singhal, who referred to the new product as a new baby from the Indomie stable, said the new product which is made from wheat will boost energy in no time after consumption.

He claimed that the new pasta has come with a difference to stand tall in the spaghetti market as it is made from quality American wheat.

Deepak reiterated that the company is committed to offering the best and that is the main reason the pasta is coming into the market with the high quality American wheat.

He revealed that the Power Pasta is presently produced in its Choba factory in  Port Harcourt where the flour mill is situated. Plans, according to him, are underway to set up other production facilities across the country to help the company continue to leverage its strong brand equity in order to maintain its competitive advantage and sustain the growth and profitability of its business activities.

The General Manager, Pasta Division of Pure Flour Mills, Karan Checker, in his speech revealed that pasta originated from Italy in 1940 and has today become a widely eaten food in homes around the world.

He explained that the aims of his company in venturing into the pasta product segment are “to enhance people’s love for pasta, to energise consumers and to create job opportunity for the people”.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Public Relations Manager, Dufil Group, Mr. Tope Ashiwaju, stressed the significance of the media launch.

He said Power Pasta is an asset when taken as a daily routine, adding that it helps both the young and old consumers to be active as a result of the energy derived from it.
