Veteran and multiple award winning actress Joke Silva, Joseph Benjamin and Funke Akindele are among the role interpreters that gave a good account of themselves in a new English movie titled Married But Living Single.

Directed by Tunde Olaoye and Produced by Kalejaiye Adeboye Paul, the movie is said to have been inspired by a book written by Pastor Femi Faseru, the resident pastor of KICC and it was adapted for film and written by Tunde Olaoye and reviewed by Jovi Babs and Kalejaiye.

Married But Living Single revolves around women, their career and family ties. It depicts the challenges faced by career women in contemporary society and their ability to combine career and family.

Kate (Funke Akindele) works in an advertising agency with an overbearing boss who is totally engrossed in her career at the expense of her family, so much that she chose her career rather than accompany her husband Patrick (Joseph Benjamin) to India for surgery.

Her neglect for the only child of the family is epitomized in the daughter’s love for only the father and even a stranger, Titi (Kiki Omeli) who turned out to be her mother’s competitor at work and husband’s mistress.

The first movie trailer is currently on you-tube and it is billed for the UK, USA, South Africa and Nigerian cinemas in May.
