Governor of the beleaguered Nigerian state of Kano, Rabiu Kwankwaso today visited the various places bombed yesterday by Boko Haram militants. The bombs left over 150 people dead.
On the guided tour with the governor was the Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Idris.
Kwankwaso expressed sympathy for the families of those who died and promised to foot the hospital expenses of the injured.
Our correspondent, Maduabuchi Nmeribe said the governor also promised to review the 24 hour curfew that he imposed on the city Friday night.
Soldiers mounted security patrol and check points around the city today, including Sabon-Gari, where non-indigenes live.
