The movie, Imala, produced by fast-rising entertainment outfit, Matrix Entertainment, will make its debut in Nigerian cinemas today.
Imala impressed movie lovers when it premiered in London and Dublin and it has been nominated for a number of local and international awards for its production quality and story line.
The movie’s debut screening in Nigeria will begin at the Silverbird Cinemas in Lagos before moving to other locations like Abuja, Genesis and Ozone cinemas.
P.M. Entertainment gathered that the theme of the movie is teenage pregnancy, pre-marital sex, sexually transmitted diseases and sex education, which have become global problems and increasingly more of developing nations’ problem.
Directed by Andy Amenechi, Imala was shot in Nigeria.
