The chairman, Wale Adenuga Productions Limited, Mr. Wale Adenuga, has been conferred with the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Ambassadors For Peace award, 2011.
The award presentation was made at the fifth annual conference of UPF with the theme Towards an Era of Universal Peace in Africa and the World.
The event, which was held at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, attracted many dignitaries, while other recipients were Mrs. Susan Oyemade of Forever Living Products, Mr. Ime Etuk, a renowned film director and producer and Mr. Babatunde Fowler, Executive Chairman, Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS).
Launched in 2001, the Ambassadors For Peace is the world’s largest and most diverse network for peace leaders from all walks of life. It promotes the spirit of volunteerism and peaceful cooperation around the world.
According to the UPF organizers, Wale Adenuga is specially recognized for his outstanding contributions to family cohesion and societal values. He is also a holder, Member of Federal Republic of Nigeria (MFR).
