After the successful release of three singles, Enjoy, Baale Baale and Owo Kudi Ego, a video last year and working on several underground mixtapes, Pope a.k.a. Pope Da Hit Man has successfully proved himself as someone whose music career is blossoming.
With much more still expected from Pope, he has been in the studio producing two new works, You Know and Let Me featuring label mate, Shaydee. These singles are a fusion of Western and Afro culture.
The singles were launched officially on his website, www.popedahitman.com, where fans can get up to date information, pictures, wallpapers and download music and videos, which also creates an avenue for him to connect with his fans.
For Pope, born Michael Ebube, his journey to becoming an artiste started from playing the keyboard in primary school and drums & bass guitar in secondary.
By 2008, he was already a respected young talent in the industry where he polished his melody-driven rap, which got him signed to Cackland Music, his current record label led by Yomi Adedeji. He has since set to work on his debut album with collaborations with various artistes.
His singles now enjoy airplay and recently created anticipation for his debut album.
