Abuja Glitters With 500 Colours

City Park Wuse 2 Abuja will on Saturday 1 October, 2011 play host to Night of 500 Colours, a presentation of Nigeria’s leading fashion designers celebrating Nigeria’s 51st Independence Day anniversary.

The fashion show is being put together by showbiz personality, Chief Macaulay Okolugbo, President of Delight Productions. “The night of 500 Colours is a unique presentation of style and designs by Nigeria’s best fashion designers billed to showcase their talents on catwalk by Nigeria’s best models on parade,” he said.

According to him, the event will also feature musical performances, raffle draws, comedy and cutting of Nigeria’s independence anniversary cake, with all guests born on 1 October.

Some of the fashion houses that will be on stage are Bobo Gee Fashions, Avada Couture, Cecil G, Tese Need Ckraff, Tibaaz Creshion, Patomo Creations, Oyibo Fashion Cloth and Styles, Yema’s Collection, Heritage Aso Oke, Dayo’s Collections, Charvid Fashion “N” Styles, Vick Nicky Fashions, Favour Fashions and a host of other fashion houses.

To add colour to the Night of 500 Colours a galaxy of stars that will perform at the evening are Tony Tetuila, Stella Monye, Frank De Nero, Voombastic Uncle P, Lucy Mohammed, Defyne, Fabo, Klint D, Drunk, MC Macaulay, John Agoha and Joyce. Her Excellency Dame Patience Jonathan is Special Guest of Honour with ministers, senators, Honourables and fashion buffs.
