Star Rewards Consumers With 24 Toyota Corolla

Following the success of the 2010 promotion and in response to the yearning of its consumers, the Star brand will once again reward consumers this year with 24 brand new Toyota Corolla in another huge consumer promotion aptly named the Star Mega Promotion.

Yusuf Ageni, Corporate Affairs Adviser, NB plc, announcing the new promo at a press conference held yesterday at the Nigerian Breweries plc headquarters in Lagos, said the tremendous strides the Star Brand has made over the years by establishing itself as a trailblazer on many counts, a truly national icon and a friend to beer drinkers across Nigeria, make it necessary to reward their loyal consumers.

“This promotion has one main objective: to say thank you to our loyal consumers. We want to use this promotion once again to touch millions of lives all over Nigeria,” Ageni said.

The promotion will last for eight weeks from 1 October to 30 November, 2011. It will be 100 per cent crown cork based.

“That means consumers buy and open a bottle of Star and while savouring the rich tastes look under the crown cork. What you see is what you get,” the Corporate Adviser explained.

There will be two categories of winning crown corks—Instant prize crown corks and Grand prize combination corks consisting of the following letters: S – T – A – R.

Instant prizes crown corks winners qualify for the following prizes: 71,000 Caps, 49,000 T Shirts, 1,650,000 Key holders, 3,500,000 Pens, 71,000 Umbrellas, 3,000,000Free drinks, N20,000 cash for 240 consumers and N50,000 cash for 400 consumers.

For the Grand Prize winner, a consumer is expected to collect a combination of crown corks that spell S-T-A-R and the rewards is the latest model of Toyota Corolla for 24 lucky consumers.

Prizes will be redeemed from any of the 1200 redemption centres to be located nationally.
