For the second year running, another journalist has emerged as one of the winners in the on-going Star TV Game Show. Olani Amusan, a journalist with the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, OGBC, smiled home with N1million at the fourth edition of the ongoing Star TV Game Show.

Amusan, was not the only crowned millionaire on the night as Edo State born Omamogie Francis along with Obadiah Usman Musa from Nassarawa State completed the trio of winners.

While expressing his joy at winning the prize money, Amusan stated that he never expected to be amongst winners of the week.

“The whole thing really shocked me. I was in a bar in Abeokuta drinking Star lager beer when I won the promo to go for the Star TV Game Show in Lagos. I didn’t think much of it but I decided to participate anyway because of the excitement it generates. Sincerely, I never expected that I would be amongst the winners,” Amusan said.

Meanwhile, 30-year-old Omamogie, another winner on the night, is already sure of what he wants to do with his money.

“I am going back to Auchi Polytechnic to get my HND. I had my OND in 2007 and since then, I haven’t been able to return for my HND. Now that I have this money, I am going to put it into my education. I thank Star for helping me go back to school,” he said.

As for Obadiah Usman Musa, who also won one million naira, he will finally get a chance to take his little boy on a dream trip and use the money for his education.

Also present at the event was accomplished actor, Bimbo Manuel, who presented the cash prizes to the lucky winners.

The Star TV Game Show, the longest running game show on Nigerian Television, was created by Nigerian Breweries plc, to reward loyal customers of the brand.

The three millionaires will bring the total numbers of winners so far in this year’s edition to 12 while a total sum of N12 million has been doled out in since the game show commenced four weeks ago.
