The Mayor of Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers State, Southsouth Nigeria, Mr. Chimbiko Akarolo, has lost his wife, Mrs. Caro Nne Akarolo.
P.M.NEWS learnt from family sources that Mrs Akarolo lost her life last Sunday due to complications arising from child birth.
Wife of Rivers State Governor Dame Judith Amaechi has described the death of Mrs Akarolo as a big loss to womanhood.
Mrs Amaechi stated this during a condolence visit to Mr Akarolo.
The governor’s wife accompanied by Mrs Stella Feyii, wife of the Secretary to the State Government, and Mrs Ibim Semenitari, Commissioner for Information and Communication, paid a glowing tributes to the late Mrs. Akarolo, describing her as dependable in the face of daunting challenges.
In her condolence message, Mrs Amaechi stated that the deceased was a nice and caring woman and a pillar of support to her husband.
“You were a nice and loving woman, your death is a great loss to us, and you were a blessing to your family and your husband the mayor of Port Harcourt who is my husband’s son,†she stated.
The governor’s wife who thereafter interceded for the family in prayers urged Rivers people to show love to one another during difficult time.
