10 Degrees Loses Gate

Despite the secrecy attached to the announcement of the venue of the wedding reception, it was so surprising to see a mammoth crowd of invited and uninvited guests besiege politician Deji Doherty’s 10 Degrees Event Centre, where the reception and after party was held.

The hefty Voltron bouncers and armed policemen had a hectic time controlling and screening the guests. At a point, the main gate of the centre caved in and a mild stampede ensued. Many guests had difficulty gaining entry with proper identification and in cases of media personalities invited, the security screened their identity cards and checked for any recording devices, as the organisers had warned they don’t allow pictures taken in the hall.
