Islamic singer, Alhaji Wasiu Kayode As-sideeq popularly known as Baba ‘n’ Waka, on Eid-el-Fitri day, will storm FSP Auditorioum, Women Development Centre, Pen Cinema, Agege, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, for this year’s edition of Jalabia Carnival.
The show, Wasiu’s initiative, holds annually to commemorate end of Ramadan fast, when his fans and fun lovers gather to give thanks to Allah for his mercy and blessings during the holy month, amidst fanfare.
As-sideeq told P.M.Entertainment that the all-night event is free for all and promises to be spectacular as this year’s edition is coming up after four years break owing to logistics problems, hence, Islamic music enthusiasts will experience a newly improved performance at the show.
He added that at the event, quiz competition will be held and fantastic prizes such as the Holy Qur’an, CD players, pressing irons and audio and video CD of his music will be given out to various winners.
The show, according to him, will be anchored by Alhaji Kareem Ibrahim of Bond FM 92.9.
