Gbenga Adeyinka 1st and his friends including Ali Baba, Tee A, Gordons, Gandoki, Princess, Lepacius Bose, Omo Baba and others, will storm Jogor Centre, Ibadan, Oyo State, Southwest Nigeria, on Sunday, 21 August, 2011, for a special show tagged Gbenga Adeyinka and Friends.
The event, packaged by Laffmattaz Incoporated, is also a night of laughter and music as the likes of Ruggedman, 9ice, Olamide, Lord of Ajasa, Konga, Goldie and other top musicians will be performing.
Speaking about the show, Adeyinka said it is two-show pronged but on one stage and it will feature the best of music and comedy because top Nigerian musicians have confirmed their appearance and are rehearsing, while looking forward to the show.
“In fact, they have promised to bring the autographed copies of their works for their fans that will attend the show,” he stated.
He said that the rationale behind the show is to take comedy out of Lagos to other parts of Southwest and Nigeria, adding, “we also want to expose some Ibadan-based comedians who are doing well.”
P.M. Entertainment learnt that the road and venue itself is now wearing a new look ahead the show.
“Yes, we will give the people of Ibadan the best with the night of uncontrollable laughter,” Adeyinka boasted.
