Joke Silva, Doris Simeon, Others Honour Bite Magazine

It was indeed a gathering of stars at Best Western Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, when Bite International magazine was officially launched recently.

The event had in attendance, Nollywood stars like Saidi Balogun, Joke Silva, Femi Brainard, Doris Simeon, Ronke Odusanya, Bimbo Akinsaya and Iyabo Ojo.

Also at the event anchored by the duo of Omo Baba and Abbey was Yinka Ayefele and Ghana star actress, Yvonne Nelson.

Speaking with NollywoodReel after the event, publisher of the magazine, Mr. Wale Olaniyi, said “Bite magazine was actually conceptualised some few years back when I felt at the time that the Nigerian entertainment industry, particularly Nollywood, didn’t seem to be getting enough media coverage regarding the stars, celebrity events and happenings in the celebrity circles. With this in mind, my team and I then started to work assiduously and discretely towards ensuring that this vacuum is filled.”

Also, Yoruba star actor, Saidi Balogun, said “it is a good omen for the industry. It is a good concept. I pray it will add value to the entertainment industry.”
