The film, produced by Carol Nguta and directed by Greg Lukalia, is already in pre-production stage and scheduled to begin principal photography on 1 August, 2011.

Showbiz Trends gathered that in a few days time, Rita will head to Kenya to begin rehearsing with major actors in the country, where she is expected to play the role of a woman who tries to overcome the long term effects of years of neglect and child abuse in a middle class home.
