Okedara Commends Aregbesola

National Supermiddleweight champion, Mojeed Okedara, has praised the Executive Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, for backing his quest to become a world champion, saying he will not disappoint the governor.

Okedara, who is an indigene of Osun State, disclosed that the governor recently gave him some money, which motivated him to training hard for his fight next week.

The professional boxer, who had a training tour of the United States of America, USA, ahead of his fight, hinted that the governor has indicated to be at the ringside during the fight.

The boxer said: “Gov ernor Aregbesola, has indicated his interest to be at the ringside whenever I’m fighting. He also told me that he would mobilise other governors to come and watch my fight. To appreciation my effort and encourage as an indigene of the state, the Governor gave me some money, I have to thank him for his kind gesture.”

Okedara added that he will leaving nothing to chance to ensure that he win the coming bout.

On what the governor should expect from him whenever he steps into the ring, he said: “Whoever confronts me should be ready to die, with my present form and stamina, I don’t see any boxer withstanding me.”
