Residents of Isale Odo Onipetesi in Sango area of Ogun State have appealed to the state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, to rehabilitate the community road which is now in a deplorable state.

A landlord and chairman of the Community Development Association (CDA), Mr. Alao Balogun, said the community is ready to co-operate with the state government to ensure that the road is rehabilitated.

“If there is heavy downpour, sometimes we could not go out to pursue our business activities. The residents, commuters and motorists plying the road will not leave everything to the state government alone as we are willing to contribute our own quota towards the development of this community,” he said, adding that the community has done its own part in the past to help the situation but all efforts could not bring succour to the residents and motorists who ply the road daily.

He, however, praised the effort of the state government and urged it to come to their rescue.

Some of the motorists also praised the effort of the governor and urged him to make the state conducive for living by providing basic social amenities including rehabilitation of bad roads, electricity and portable water especially to remote communities in the state.
