Fuji musician, Saheed Osupa and his Juju music counterpart, Yinka Best, have been billed to perform at this year’s Isese Festival slated for 20 August, 2011.
According to the organiser of the festival, His Royal Majesty, Olamilekan Olaniyi Fayemi, Oba Saala of the Ogboni Saala Worldwide, other entertainers are expected to join Saheed and Yinka to make the event a huge success.
According to him, “this year’s festival promises to be eventful and glamorous in all respects. We know that there are high expectations and we promise not to fail in delivering an event that will create indelible impressions in the heart of the people.â€
Apart from musical performances, a boxing competition has also been slated to entertain people at the festival and winners of the competition, according to him, will go home with substantial prizes.
Meanwhile, in his determination to re-brand the festival, Oba Saala has constructed several projects and education structures including a traditional hospital and school. According to a release, not less than N150 million has been committed to the festival.
