Members of the Lagos State Taxi Drivers and Cabs Operators Association, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria have congratulated the new commissioners in the state.

The association’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Lateef Oseni, commended the Lagos State governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, for appointing Mr. Kayode Opeifa, as the Commissioner for Transportation, adding that he has the needed experience to steer the ministry.

“Opeifa knows the problems facing the sector and we are very sure that transportation sector under him would witness tremendous development.”

Oseni, however, advised the Commissioner to try and rebrand the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, by disengaging the ‘bad eggs’ in the sector.
