KAI Auctions Seized Goods

Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) Brigade, the law enforcement unit of the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment has commenced auctioning confiscated goods and items from illegal street traders in different parts of the state.

 

The auction which commenced yesterday at the premises of the Headquarters Office of the Brigade, Alausa, started with a large turnout of members of the public who were interested in buying these items.

 

KAI Marshal General, Capt. Danjuma Maigeri (retd) stated that the Brigade started the auction following the directive from the State Government that all the goods being confiscated by the KAI Magistrate Court after six months of the court’s judgment should be auctioned.

The confiscated items for auctioning are travel bags, clothes, shoes, motor steering covers, tyres, GSM accessories, fan, radio, iron, household items among others.

 

The auctioning exercise is expected to continue till weekend and every member of the public were urged to come en-mass and participate in the exercise.
