LASG Calls For Cooperation

The newly sworn-in Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Lateef Aderemi Ibirogba has sought the co-operation of Lagosians for the administration of Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) to surpass the successes recorded during its first term.

Mr. Ibirogba stated this today at a reception organised for him by the staff of Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy and its parastatals.

Mr. Ibirogba, a seasoned journalist, flanked by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Information and Strategy, Mr. Lateef Raji, noted that the cabinet is composed of largely men of God, desirous of moving Lagos to the next level.

While urging the state work force and indeed Lagosians to co-operate with the new team, he stated that the new cabinet would add value towards uplifting the lives of the citizenry.

He emphasized that the new team would work assiduously to surpass the achievements recorded during the first term of Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola’s administration.

Welcoming the Commissioner and Special Adviser to the Ministry, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Strategy, Mrs. Oluranti Odutola, thanked Governor Fashola (SAN) for putting round peg in round hole, adding that the new team would add value and take Lagos to the new pedestal.

She reiterated the support and co-operation of the entire staff of the ministry for the new team, adding that ‘’the race to excellence has no finish line. We assure you of our own relentless support, co-operation and accountability’’.

Mr. Lateef Aderemi Ibirogba holds Masters Degree in Communication and Language Arts and has worked at various levels in Daily Times Nigeria Plc, Punch Nigeria Limited and was Group Head, Client Service, Promoserve Advertising.
