Following the rumoured resignation of the President, Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Admiral Dele Abiodun, the association is currently engulfed in fresh crisis.

It was gathered that before Abiodun’s resignation, some members of the association led by the former first and second vice presidents, Emma Ogosi, Zimakoy Ibezim respectively, Barrister Demola, the former acting general secretary and others, had written a petition to the Special Fraud Investigation Unit (SFIU), Milverton Street, Ikoyi, Lagos, alleging that the president had defrauded the association.

P.M.Entertainment learnt that after SFIU investigations on the allegations ranging from the Osun State carnival and purchase of generating set, among others, Abiodun was said to have been exonorated, but his accusers are bent on destroying him hence, they began to send text messages to members.

One of such messages sent to P.M.Entertainment via sms on telephone number 0803858450 reads: “Dele Abiodun has resigned and Emma Ogosi has taken over as acting President”. This message came after that of the former second vice president, Zimakoy Ibezim, which also reads: “Dele Abiodun, Idowu Blessing Akinnehin, others to be arraigned at Igbosere Magistrate’s Court on a seven-count charge of fraud and embezzlement tomorrow, 9 June, 2011 by 9 a.m. Please, be there to witness the beginning of the imminent probe in PMAN, present and past. Thanks Zimakoy.”
