Man behind Stephaine’s Bar and Lounge, Apapa, Lagos, Olalekan Bright a.k.a. DJ Bright, may not be a giant physically, but he turns out to be one any time he is behind the turn table and at such times, he simply remains the mix master to beat.
Last week he had the opportunity of thrilling Gloria Ibru fondly addressed as Glo Babe, who had strolled into the club in company of some fun seekers.
Just as they settled down, DJ Bright started his mixing act which Gloria managed to resist initially, but suddenly fell flat for the DJ’s dexterity in mixing that is unique to him and she danced, smoked and cracked jokes in typical Warri fashion, which is only Gloria’s.
Meanwhile, wave making Cave, Aficionados Bar located at Joel Ogunnaike Street, Ikeja, has continued to play host to leading showbiz stars and journalists, while also maintaining its position as the most popular hang-out in town. “Reason,†according to the owner, Shina Eddo, “is our friendly and warm customer relations displayed by the staff, especially the service girls.†The exotic interior and exterior decor of Aficionados Bar may also be one of the magnetic forces that attract the top stars to the cosy rendezvous.
