Fuji music ‘generalisimo’, Alhaji Kolington Ayinla, is set for a new album.
The musician, who is said to have been under pressure to release an album in honour of his friend, Sikiru Ayinde Barrister since his death last year, will drop that album soon.
Kolington told P.M.Entertainment in an exclusive chat, that he has concluded rehearsals and will hit the studio next week for the recording.
While keeping the title of the new album close to his chest, he said that the new work is fuji at its best, adding, “you know I cannot fall below standard and that is the only honour I can give to my friend, Sikiru.â€
The veteran musician, whose old works include Kasabubu, Ijo Yoyo and Fuji Megastar, among others, are currently making waves in the market also said that the release of the new work be a separate effort entirely.
