The leadership of the Nigerian Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO) has implored Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State to be wary of some discredited transporters parading themselves as leaders of the association in Lagos and the Southwest.

A statement signed by Evangelist Yemi Akinola, Chairman, NARTO, Southwest Zone appealed to the governor not to recognise Chief Fatai Gbesan as the Chairman of NARTO, Southwest zone.

“While this association recognises the right of every citizen of this country to free speech, including felicitation with the number one man of the state, we wish to inform the general public that Chief Fatai Gbesan is not the Chairman of NARTO, Southwest.
