For the first time, Nigerian international singer, Asa, has been billed to perform at London’s Indigo2 concert on 5 June.

The concert, which is already generating excitement among Nigerians and other Africans in the United Kingdom, will be opened by the British jazz urban contemporary saxophonist and composer, Yolanda Brown.

The 28-year old diva, whose debut album, ASA, was released in 2007 and another, Beautiful Imperfection, in October 2010, has made a big name for herself both at home and abroad, while she has been touring various countries across Europe and America.

Showbiz Trends learnt that the concert, which is already generating excitement among Nigerians and other Africans in the United Kingdom, will have British Jazz urban contemporary saxophonist and composer, Yolanda Brown, open the show.

The show, which tickets was reported to have been sold out, is sponsored by Arik Air, Ultimalt drink and www.topupnigeria.com.

The 28-year-old talent has made a big name for herself both at home and abroad. Asa has been touring various countries across Europe and America. Her debut album titled ASA was released in 2007 and the sophomore album, Beautiful Imperfection, which contains various hits including Why can’t We and Be My Man was released in October 2010.
