Residents of Olowoira in Ikosi-Isheri Local Government Development Area, LCDA, of Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, have charged the council boss, Mr. Kunle Soname, to improve on his service delivery to the community, scoring him low in the area of infrastructure development.

According to a resident in the area, Mr. Ganiyu Sarumi, since the council chairman assumed office, he has not initiated any meaningful project in the community. He added that no one could point to any significant project that the council has executed.

He stated that Olowoira has not reaped the dividends of democracy as the whole area is almost submerged by erosion gullies. He said that flood has been a source of concern to the entire community, adding that the state government should call the council boss to order so as to quickly find a solution to the problem.

Efforts to speak with the council boss proved abortive.
