It will be the repeat of second Group B match when the Junior Lions of Cameroon battle Nigeria’s Flying Eagles in the final of the U-20 African Youth Championship, AYC, on Sunday.

The Cameroonian U-20 team set up a final clash against Nigeria after defeating the Egyptians this evening in a gruelling 120 minutes semi final that ended 4-2 via penalty shootout. The game ended goalless after 90 minutes duration time, while no goal was scored in the extra time.

The second semi final match was decided at the Dobsonville Stadium, South Africa, where the Egyptian players openly protested the decision of the referees during the penalty kicks. The referees ordered a replay of two kicks by Cameroon after the Egyptian goalkeeper moved out of the goal line before the kicks.

The decision infuriated the Egyptian players, who expressed their feelings angrily but their officials brought the situation under control before they left the pitch.
