Bolton Academy Partners COD Utd

In order to improve the skills of young players at their tender age, City of David Soccer School has taken a giant step to sign a partnership deal with Bolton Wanderers Football International Soccer School of England.

 

Last week Saturday, the coaching crew of Bolton Academy taught the kids the techniques and rudiment of the game.

 

At least 40 kids featured in the five-day event held at the Astro Turf of COD Church Road, off Ligali Ayorinde, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

 

Chief Coach of Bolton Academy, Mick Wild, told GSG that he was impressed with the partnership deal with COD Soccer School.

 

He said the partnership will enable both schools have exchange programme regularly, which he believes will help develop the skills of the kids in modern and scientific football.

 

“The kids are talented and we are planning to take some players to our academy in England for further traning. Nigeria is a great football playing nation, so we are happy to sign a deal with COD Soccer School,” he said.

 

COD Sports Director, Shola Opaleye, expressed happiness that the kids are responding to training and urged their parents to encourage their kids to play football.
