There seems to be some semblance of unity and peace within the rugby community in Nigeria after the final reconciliatory meeting held recently at the instance of Nigerian Olympic Committee, NOC and the National Sports Commission, NSC.

The peace parley which was held in the boardroom of the NOC, saw the setting up of a 14-member unified board of Nigeria Rugby Football Federation. The members were drawn from the concessionaire, the rugby stakeholders and the zonal representatives.

The meeting mandated the scribe of the NOC, Tunde Popoola, to communicate the composition of the new board to the International Rugby Board, Confederation of African Rugby and the International Olympic Committee, while the new board will be presented to the Nigerian public on Wednesday, 20 April.
